Susan Currie grew up in Mississippi, among gracious old family homes and, most of all, in her grandmother's kitchen — the room where she first understood that a home is really a place to gather and live. That conviction became a color-forward luxury practice, honored by the ASID and carried across two markets. Color, she'll tell you, is the trademark; warmth is the point.
Susan Currie Design is founded in New Orleans — roughly eighteen years of turning fine old houses into fresh, personal, livable rooms, with a study in Interior Design from Delgado Community College behind it.
Named a recipient of the ASID Georgia Chapter Service Award — one of several ASID honors, alongside an ASID Design Excellence Award, that mark a career built on craft and generosity to the field.
Recognized with Best of Houzz honors five years running, with a 5.0 rating and a reputation, in her own words, that "big pictures are made of little details."
Susan Currie Design keeps its New Orleans roots and works by appointment from a studio at Atlanta's Decorative Arts Center (ADAC), with project work reaching to New York. A Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses graduate and a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist.

Renovations that add real function as well as beauty — the kind of guidance that helps you make good choices and get a kitchen beyond expectations, on a budget that's respected.
The house specialty. Confident, color-forward schemes built for the light of the room and the way you actually live — never timid, never off-the-shelf.
Curated, edited selections — sourcing, custom pieces and art — so you're offered considered options rather than an overwhelming catalog.
Working alongside your architect and builder from early drawings on — catching potential issues before they become problems, with follow-through that keeps everyone aligned.
Showhouse rooms and press-featured spaces — including Serenbe and Cashiers showhouse work — where the palette and detail get to be at their most expressive.
A room shouldn't just photograph beautifully — it should be the special setting where a lifetime of memories can be made.
